I agree wholeheartedly. Problem is, this unhappy behavior seems to be spreading to a wide variety of places like IKEA who have previously had a reputation of being customer friendly. I can't figure out whether it's a sign of the times, the economy, or cultural. I DO know it makes shopping a lot less pleasant an experience.
We are on the same page. I miss the good ol' days. IKEA used to be a magical place where i loved to go and pick out furniture and what not that i would put in my future apartment! The employee's kind of put a damper in my happiness and fun.
